Alright how about this fun skill, i mean i see people saying it before a RA battle, and its used universally. FFS, my town made a football chant after it.

adrenaline cost: 10
recharge time: 60s
"This Is Sparta!"
Shout. For 30 seconds, all allies within earshot move 25% faster, attack 33%faster, and deal 33% more damage, but take double damage and have -40 armor.

And def have the icon be king leonidus shouting.

only problem is, the spartans, real and in the movie, pride themselves on their defence, the whole double damage less armor thing wouldn't work out, but otherwise its a good idea.

So basically you want a single critical dervish hit to do enough damage to kill every caster on your team who essentially has 10 armor (-40 + double damage) completely against his/her will.

Let me know how that goes.

That AND it's based off a mediocre movie. If you're going to do this skill, make it based off a good movie. Make the shout like "Yipee Kay Yay Motherf...."

All else aside, on the effects of the skill alone, any shout that's this powerful AND lasts 30 seconds would be just plain stupid. And also, being able to debuff your allies would be stupid. That's why there's no necro skills that are like "Sacrifice 33% of target other ally's health..." People would just use it to kill their allies. Seriously, if I was playing my Mesmer and someone used that shout, I'd be pissed, seeing as I'm not a damage dealer, and taking 200+ damage from a single hammer attack, would be stupid.

Seriously, bring your allies down to 20 armor and make them take double damage with absolutely no benefits other than a bit faster kiting... nice plan.

Yeah...actually, if you wanna make it like sparta...you need to do 300 X +100 armor(300 spartans w/sy of course)= +30000 armor, same duration, same recharge as you stated, but the + armor for all allies including yourself.

Why?

How 'bout higher armor/damage and 30% slower movement/attack rate and only affects nearby allies AKA your frontliners.

Even then, it doesn't sound all that good.

No. People would bring this on teams consisting of all casters just to grief.

That... and do we REALLY need more references to this relatively new movie? it already has an entire BMP mission. It's not even like a classic or a cult favorite. It 10 years, most people probablly aren't even going to remember what the reference is.

That shout died a week before the movie even came out. The trailer overhyped the movie and it was kind of just an average action flick that attracted smug/smarmy high schoolers with sideways baseball caps.

Or just make it dolyak signet in shout form. Maybe more armor (+200), and 90% slowdown. PvE only.
